Signs from the Community

As you can probably imagine, SightSpeed is popular with the deaf community. SightSpeed allows them to see and communicate using natural sign language. It is so popular that the new community section of SightSpeed includes ASL as one of the language selections.

Our friends in the deaf community have also been especially heavy users of video mail. Here is an example that was recently posted on the DeafNetwork website announcing an upcoming show in which the star of the show, Abababa, signs and speaks his entire comedy routine.

Come See the Comedy Show!

I don't know sign language, but I have been told that this is a particularly funny message. Even if you can't understand her signs, you will be impressed at how fast her hands move and how important facial expression is in understanding what she is telling us.
